Withdrawal Policy
From the moment we begin to organise an event, we start to incur costs. Your entry fee is invested into the cost of staging the event; everything from barriers to T-shirts, from printing to safety pins, from race numbers to marketing. Organising any event requires a considerable amount of forward planning, risk and expense.
100% of the profit from the AXLR8 Triathlon is split between the nominated charities. Therefore, if delegates drop out, the charities suffer. However, we accept that accidents happen, commitments crop up, so providing it is sufficiently in advance of the event, we are prepared to give you an element of your entry fee back or we will accept a delegate substitution, providing that we have been notified. This cannot happen on the day!
Refunds will be issued after the event and as follows:
- Notification postmarked 8 weeks (61 days) or more before the event -- 50% refund
- Notification postmarked 4 weeks to 8 weeks (30 to 60 days) before event -- 20% refund
- Notification postmarked less than 4 weeks (29 days) before event -- no refund
(Telephone messages are not acceptable).
Emails must be followed up by a letter with an SAE. (We will accept the date of the email.)
