Event Sponsors

AXLR8 would like to thank those who have pledged sponsorship and support for Triathlon 2008. Please click here to view this year's sponsors.

There are two simple packages for sponsorship: "Early Adopter" and "Corporate"

Early Adopter Sponsorship package. Aimed at small and medium sized local businesses, this package costs £200 (cheque made out to either or both of the above charities and agreement signed before May 1st, 2008) buys a sponsored Marshalling slot in a high visibility area of the race. It requires two adults to be present and attend from 6.50 am till 11.30 am. There will also be pre-race briefings on the responsibilities of Marshals and their duties.

The package requires that your business provides a prize advertising your goods. You will receive various other benefits including logo space on the site, mentions in any literature, Photo in the local papers at the cheque donation ceremony. Also, Early Adopters will get the option to sponsor next year's bigger better event for £600 whereas non-early adopters will have to pay £1000 minimum next year.

Corporate Sponsors. Corporate Sponsors can have a much bigger share of the branding for £2000 (cheque made out to one of or split between the two charities). Additionally, they will have the right, at their own cost and subject to contract, to provide the major prizes and various branding opportunities (e.g. race gantry, marshalls tabards, etc).

We would consider any proposal for an exclusive (without affecting the rights of the small local businesses who are accepted as Early Adopters) for bidders above £5000. The Corporate sponsor this year will have an automatic option to sponsor one more years at a maximum of 150% of the price of this year's sposorship package.
