Just a quick email to congratulate you both on a great day yesterday. Personally I had a great time and was really impressed with the obvious hard work and organisation that went into making the day run so smoothly.
I had numerous phone calls today from the boys and girl from Heathrow all telling me how much they enjoyed the event and already looking forward to next year.- Terry

I took part in the AXLR8 triathlon yesterday, and I’m afraid I’m going to gush!
Firstly, a huge thank you to all the organisers and marshalls, who made everything run so smoothly. They were a brilliant bunch. I bumbled my way through the day, losing my tee-shirt (they very kindly gave me another), forgetting to get my number written on my hand, having to ask a marshall to undo my helmet, and generally asking hundreds of extremely stupid questions, but everyone was helpful, friendly and patient. Even the other competitors were a friendly bunch, and always happy to help. The gentlemen handing out the water at the end were charm personified, the medal was lovely, and the goody bag contained real goodies!
So thank you again for a brilliant and wonderful day. I was still buzzing at tea time, but soon the tiredness caught up with me and I had an early night.
Thank you also for the speedy results service. To my utter amazement, my time in the swimming wasn’t even the slowest, though I imagine those who were slower probably wasted time in transition.
I’ll definitely be back next year.

I can’t believe I managed my first ever triathlon! I did find it hard and thought I was going to have to stop on the run but the money I am raising for charity got me through that!! - Penny

Just wanted to say a big thank you to you and your team for organizing yesterday's triathlon.
Only my second triathlon and the first at those distances. A little tougher than I imagined but what a sense of achievement!
I hope you managed to get everything cleared away - I remember thinking on the cycle ride just how many signs had been put up and just how many have to come down again.....

Congratulations on another storming event yesterday. Even though the wind tried its best to blow us away, the sun shone, people tri-ed and faces smiled.
Well done on getting the results up so fast. You always amaze me on that front.

I just wanted to thank you for all the hard work you put in for pre events training and on the day. I really enjoyed the day despite having knackered my leg 3 days before. Still managed to hobble round the running course and beat the time I set myself of 1.45 by completing in 1.33. I think I will do the event next year and aim to get my transitions quicker. Too much fumbling with socks! I have lost half a stone and 4 cms off my hips with training. The challenge now is to keep it off! - Claire

I was absolutely astonished and quietly shocked at how this triathlon was organised.
It was such an honour to participate in well organised event.
But what I was surprised about was that I was do it all on my own and people from spectators, to marshalls to other competitors providing great support. The aura, the atmosphere and great town made me feel more than glad I came to this event.
I just want to say special thank you to you both for letting me participate and organising a fantastic event...I will definitely give good word to people in London and recommend it highly...If I am given the honour again to participate, I will make sure I raise lot more money.
You may have got training for the London Olympics...should I be on the podium, you will be the first people I mention... - Bal

I would just like to say how much I enjoyed competing in my first ever triathlon.  I thought it was extremely well organised in every way.  I especially appreciated the very well sign- posted and marshalled bike route.  Also, on the run I noticed that lumps and bumps in the course had been indicated by red and white tape which was particularly helpful in avoiding them.  The whole atmosphere of the event was great too and I found everyone (marshals,  spectators, competitors) thoroughly supportive and friendly.  Even the weather turned out fine!
Thank you for answering the questions in my e-mails and for the registration information sheet sent out beforehand which was very useful. 
It must have taken a lot of work to post the results on the website so quickly!  I didn't have a chance to time myself and was interested to see how long I'd taken.
I'm now in the process of collecting sponsor money! - Sue
